Tukazban Ismailova

Tukazban Ismailov was born in Baku on 21st of December, in1923, died on 24th of March in 2008 in Baku. Khanende, received rank of the national artist in 1993.

She was awarded to the Medal of Honor in 1998. She achieved Guseingulu Sarabsky’s classes in Governmental Music School of Azerbaijan. Tukazban Ismailova was the soloist of Phillarmony of Azerbaijan Republic, and also the soloist of Choir of Azerbaijan Radio.

Composes of Azerbaijan composers and national songs took a special place in her repertoire. Khanende perfectly performed such mugams as, Gatar, Heyraty, Shahnaz, and Segah. She has given classes of mugam in the Grammar school of Arts since 1985.
