Abdulbagi Zulalov (Bulbuljan)

Abdulbagi Zulalov was born in 1841 in Shusha and died in 1927 in Baku. He was one of the representatives of Azerbaijan khanende school.

His first education he got in Shusha in Kharrat Gulu’s class and performed with his beautiful voice in Karabakh, Ganja and Sheki.

He lived in 1876-1920 years in Tiflis (Tbilisi) and performed there during the breaks in theater plays, concerts and parties. He was master khanende with bueatiful, charming and fascinating voice.

He moved to Baku in 1920 and worked as a teacher in “Sharg konservatoriyasi” (Eastern conservatoire) and since 1923 in the Azerbaijan State Turkish Music School.
