Qualification rounds of the IV International Children's Mugam Festival continue.
The rounds of the festival, supported by the youth and sports, culture and tourism ministries, sponsored by PASHA Bank and organized by Kainat Youth Centre, kicked off in May, AzerTAj reported.
In July, the Azerbaijani National Conservatoire hosted the first hearings of the festival. Talented children from Karabakh and Ganja regions performed before the professional jury.
At the next hearings held in August, four young singers qualified to the final round. Qualifying rounds are planned to be held also in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron in September.
Head of the festival's jury is People's Artist, Professor Agasalim Abdullayev. The final round of the festival held among children under 16 will be held at the International Mugam Centre this October. (AzerTAj)
