Program of the 4th Gabala Music Festival made public
A program of the 4th Gabala Music Festival, which will start on July 24, was made public.
The musicians from many countries will participate in the festival, which is organized annually by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Ministry of Culture and Tourism. A concert of world famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be also organized in the festival. The first concert of the 4th Gabala Music Festival will be devoted to the 70 years jubilee of world famous Azerbaijani musician Muslum Magomayev.
A concert of the Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibayli will be held on July 25 within the festival. Rauf Abdullayev and Azad Aliyev will conduct the concerts. 90 years jubilee of Fikrat Amirov will be celebrated on July 26 and vocal concert on July 27. At the same time a concert of the Orchestra of Baku Music Academy will be held in the festival and Yegana Akhundova, Murad Huseynov and Murad Adigozalov will perform in the program.
A mugham concert will be also held on July 28 within the festival. Mugham singer Ilkin Ahmedov, Arzu Aliyeva and Ehtiram Huseynov will sing at the concert. They will be accompanied by tar-player Sahib Pashazadeh, kamancha-player Khayyam Mammadov, canon-player Tarana Aliyeva, drum-player Emin Jabrayilov and balaban-player Mehman Nuriyev.
100 years jubilee of maestro Niyazi will be marked on July 29, concerts of Farhad Badalbayli, Murad Adigozalov and Dmitry Yablonsky will be held on July 30, concert of Yuri Bashmet on August 1 and concert of Boris Berezovsky on August 2.
World famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will give a concert on July 31 and August 3. Charles Dutoit, Lisa de la Salle and Michał Nesterowicz will perform at the concerts. The festival will end with the performances of Murad Adigozalzadeh, Farhad Badalbayli and Teymur Suleymanbayli on July 5. (APA)
